Author Guidelines

  1. AUTHOR GUIDELINES

    Transformatio Journal: Theology, Education, and Integral Mission

    General Policy
    Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Submissions must align with the journal’s scope and be submitted via OJS using the official .docx template.

    Language and Length
    Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English. Abstracts must be provided in both languages.

    • Research articles: 5,000–8,000 words, including footnotes and references.

    • Book Reviews: 2–4 pages.

    Author Identity
    Author names and affiliations must not appear in the main manuscript for blind review and should be entered in the OJS metadata.

    Formatting

    • Title: Times New Roman 14

    • Author name: Times New Roman 13

    • Affiliation & email: Times New Roman 11

    • Abstract: 150–250 words, Times New Roman 12, italic, single-spaced, followed by 4–7 keywords

    • Main text: Times New Roman 12, 1.15 spacing

    Article Structure
    Introduction – Method – Discussion – Conclusion.

    Citations and References
    The journal uses footnotes following the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition (Full Note).

    • Footnotes: Times New Roman 10, single-spaced

    • General format: Author, Title (Place: Publisher, Year), page
      Authors are strongly encouraged to use Zotero or Mendeley.

    Tables and Figures
    Tables and figures must be numbered, titled below, and include sources where applicable.

    References
    The reference list must be generated automatically using Zotero or Mendeley in Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition.

☐ The topic fits the journal’s scope (theology, education, and integral mission).
☐ The manuscript follows the official journal template (.docx).
☐ The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English, with abstracts in both languages.
☐ Article length complies with the guidelines:
    ☐ Research article: 5,000–8,000 words
    ☐ Book Review: 2–4 pages
☐ Author identity is not included in the main manuscript and is completed in OJS metadata.
☐ The abstract is 150–250 words and includes 4–7 keywords.
☐ Citations use footnotes in Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition (Full Note).
☐ References are managed using Zotero or Mendeley.
☐ All tables and figures are properly numbered, titled, and sourced.
☐ Manuscripts that have entered the peer-review stage may not be withdrawn.
