Abstract
Lynne M. Baab is an author of various books and Bible studies, as well as a Presbyterian minister. She completed her Ph.D. in communication at the University of Washington in 2007 and later taught pastoral theology at the University of Otago. Her bestselling book, Sabbath Keeping, was selected for the Urbana Missions Conference more than a decade after its publication. It is the first Christian book on the Sabbath that draws on dozens of interviews with people who practice Sabbath-keeping in real life. The Sabbath is explored as a way to experience God's grace, with practical suggestions given on "what to stop doing on the Sabbath" and "what to do to draw closer to God."
